Culminating the journey, this song investigates what happens after we surpass the gates of reality. It is an end with a question mark to let the listener wander in their stream of thoughts. I feel that people have unique perspectives of the same world we live in. Making it quite impossible to create, maintain standards that work universally with everyone.
I used some previously recorded foley out of the stuff I have at home. Interesting stuff that vibrates the air in a unique way. For example, I have this chess set that has a simple wooden box to house all the pieces. Shut the box, give it a flick, voila - a shaker! Open the box, swim fingers in it - it's a texture! Layering a few of these household percussions, generated interestingly changing rhythmic patterns and let the melody flow freely.
I believe that imagination is such a powerful skill to practice nurturing your thoughts. Things can be anything you want them to be. A soundscape can correspond to a colour, polybags can be textures, the head could be a - Tangerine ?
